Archit Pandey is an upcoming Software Engineer at Google Cloud Security, currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Southern California. He is passionate about building high-performing and extensible software systems. Archit has a diverse range of experience in software engineering, academic research, and open-source software development. Before starting his Master's degree, Archit worked as a Software Engineer at Deskera, where he developed full-stack web applications using React, Javascript, Java, Go, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka. During his one year at Deskera, he gained hands-on experience with each part of the stack. Additionally, as an undergraduate, he was heavily involved in academic research, which played a crucial role in his education. He is also an active contributor to several open-source projects such as DPDK, OpenNetVM, and GNU Wget2, which can be found on his GitHub profile. With a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Surathkal, Archit has a solid foundation in software engineering. He plans to gain insights into building and analyzing large software systems by taking advanced coursework in operating systems, distributed systems, algorithms, and software engineering as part of his Master's degree. Archit's technical expertise includes Software Engineering, Web Development, Research Science, Java, Javascript, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Search, SQL, Redux, Spring Boot, Spring, and Backend. He has 1.19 years of relevant experience, including his time at Deskera and as a Web Developer (Student Worker) at the Laboratory of Neuro Imaging (LONI), where he built a landing page and web application for a data visualization and analytics platform for neuroinformatics research using Gatsby, React, Markdown, and GraphQL. Archit is currently looking for teams to join at Google Cloud Security, where he will be interning as a Software Engineering Intern in Summer '22.
