Argho Chatterjee is a Staff Data Scientist in Applied Research, with a passion for solving hard prediction and reasoning problems using data. He has a solid theoretical understanding and practical experience in different areas of Machine Learning and Deep Learning models. Currently, Argho is working with Walmart Labs as a Staff Data Scientist in the AdTech domain, building models to power the AdTech platform at Walmart scale for serving users with relevant product Ads while shopping over Walmart.com and partner e-commerce sites. He is part of the ML Audience Behaviour Targeting group and is responsible for training and improving ML models at Walmart scale to suggest the right Ads to the right users. Previously, Argho worked as a researcher in Samsung Research, building Deep Learning models in the space of FAB yield improvement and other Samsung smart equipment devices using natural Language text and time series datasets. He also worked in the area of text mining, generative chat bots, improved and deploy search relevance models, fraud detection, and churn predictions models in products deployed for some of the largest telecom operator companies. Argho has a Master's degree in Applied Machine Learning from Liverpool John Moores University, a PGD in Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence from IIIT Bangalore, and a Nanodegree in Deep Learning from Udacity. He also attended Stanford University, where he completed a course in Machine Learning and is currently pursuing a degree in Artificial Intelligence & Deep Learning. He has almost ten years of relevant experience and is always looking to adapt research to make quality impacts on user products using data.
