Arghyadeep Das is a Software Development Engineer (Graduate Analyst) at Barclays with a strong academic background and diverse skillset. He aspires to become an ML/DL Cognoscente and build solutions that transform society. He has been a 2021 CVIT Summer School of AI Fellow, Beta Tester at deeplearning.ai, and former Lead Mentor of Somaiya Machine Learning Research Association. Arghyadeep is a strong PyTorch aficionado with a keen interest in tinkering with Machine Learning and Deep Learning. He has worked in the domains of Reinforcement Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Generative Models. He is experienced in working with Python3, Java, C, Golang, Django, Flask, FasAPI, NodeJS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Currently, Arghyadeep is working at Barclays as an SDE (Graduate Analyst) and has designed and implemented an Azure solution for the eDiscovery team to overcome the shortcomings of trust establishment between Compliance Center and Azure storage. He has also worked on automating end-to-end delivery of Forms, Planner, and Whiteboard for Barclays users in Microsoft Teams and managing Information Barrier policies for Market and Research teams. He has been awarded Star of the Month award (March) and Barclays Unsung Hero Award (May) for his solutions. In the past, Arghyadeep has worked as a Lead Mentor and Community Mentor at Somaiya Machine Learning Research Association (SMLRA). He has conducted sessions on PyTorch-101, ML-101, and Deep Learning in NLP-101, among others. He has also organized and hosted webinars on "The Past & Future of AI" that had over 100 participants from across the globe. Arghyadeep holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, Vidyavihar. He has also completed his Higher Secondary Degree from Pace Junior Science College and 10th Grade from Ryan International School, Kharghar. With 2.28 years of relevant experience, Arghyadeep is a Machine Learning Cognoscente with a strong focus on building solutions that transform society.
