Ariel Syrko is a Lead AWS Cloud Architect with over 8 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, Ariel works at Clariant as a Cloud Automation Engineer where he evaluates future cloud technologies for their applicability and cost-effectiveness. He leads and participates in the design of new services and defines automation requirements, plans project and team activities, and automates infrastructure and application services into AWS with code and scripting. He defines, supports, and maintains cloud automation/migration roadmap and works as a cloud expert directly with cloud vendors and technical alliances. Ariel takes ownership of outcomes and works through priorities and dispersed teams proactively. Prior to Clariant, Ariel worked at Atos as a Cloud System Architect and Cloud System Engineer. As a Cloud System Architect, Ariel was accountable for the end-to-end customer cloud deployment experience. He defined a solution using architectural design principles based on customer requirements and provided implementation guidance based on best practices. He made architectural decisions (and partially implementation) on product improvements based on feedback from customers and cost/performance/security optimization. Ariel led a team of Cloud Architects/Engineers and DevOps Engineers, managed deployment, and allocated resources. He also conducted technical interviews with possible newcomers. As a Cloud System Engineer, Ariel configured and managed Amazon Web Services based technology platforms and capabilities. He built, maintained, and optimized cloud-based infrastructure and designed and developed automation scripts for AWS services. Ariel served as a key member of the Run Support & Deploy team in helping to ensure customer success based on AWS solutions. Ariel holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Blekinge Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Automation and Robotics from Politechnika Gdańska. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Automation and Robotics from Politechnika Gdańska.
