Arihant Kamdar is a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for AI. He is currently working at GLIB, where he applies his expertise in Machine Learning, Statistics, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision to develop innovative solutions. Arihant has a strong background in research and development, having previously worked as a Research Intern at ISRO. During his time at ISRO, Arihant worked with scientists to examine large-scale high-resolution satellite hyperspectral and multispectral images. He co-registered the data to find unique characteristics of the land and classify it based on ground truth like water, forest, concrete structures, etc. He also developed various ensemble-based Machine Learning models and various Deep Learning ensemble models for predicting the plan based on its intensity characteristics of the image on the electromagnetic spectrum. Arihant achieved a testing accuracy of 98.3% on seven different classes of ground truth using pixel intensity-based algorithms upon testing. Prior to his work at ISRO, Arihant served as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Simplyfi Softech India. Here, he engineered a large-scale handwriting recognition model of bank forms for various banks across the world using custom models using Time Distributed CRNN model with 89% accuracy of predictions to facilitate the digitization of banking forms. He also modelled and regulated Invoice Extraction through OCR character recognition to extract details like goods and description, GST, and order number. Arihant holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Pandit Deendayal Energy University, where he is scheduled to graduate in 2022. Arihant is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including ML, Python, Data Scientist, AI, Deep Learning, Research Scientist, Computer Vision, TensorFlow, OpenCV, SQL, AWS, Object detection, Object Detection, Image Segmentation, NLP, Scikit, Django, Docker, and Pytorch.
