Arijit Mukhopadhyay is a seasoned engineering leader with over 6 years of experience in building and managing large-scale backend systems. He is currently the Co-Founder and COO of gro - creatorverse, where he is focused on building for the Gen-Z creator economy. Prior to his current role, Arijit worked at ShareChat, one of India's largest social media platforms, where he led multiple teams including Consumer Experience, Discovery, Growth and Feed. He managed a team of 21 backend developers and was responsible for a range of projects such as Follow, Comments, Profile, Explore, Tags, Sign-up, Feed, Sports, SCTV, KOL, Referral, and Groups. Arijit's work involves managing engineering roadmaps, working closely with Product, mentoring new hires, monitoring execution and quality, setting up processes, owning backend design and architecture, setting up metrics and monitoring, and owning uptime and performance of services. Arijit holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Instrument Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Heritage Institute of Technology. He also completed his 12th or Higher Secondary education in Science from Jodhpur Park Boys' School and his 10th or Secondary education from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Narendrapur. Arijit's tech stack includes expertise in Backend and Senior Software Engineering. He is a highly skilled professional with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
