Arindam Kar is a seasoned Product Owner with 17+ years of experience in the tech industry. He possesses extensive knowledge of developing and implementing network test plans, protocols, and strategies, with in-depth knowledge of switching and routing protocols, security products, intrusion detection systems, and firewalls. Arindam has worked in both QA and Development roles and is currently playing the role of Product Owner for SBG Automation Test. Arindam has worked with some of the top companies in the industry, including Cisco Systems, IXIA Tech, HCL Tech, and Wipro Tech. He holds several industry certifications, including CEH, Certified Scrum Master, VCP5-DCV, RHCSA in Red Hat OpenStack, and CCNA. At Cisco SBG, Arindam has worked on multiple projects, mainly on the Cisco NGFW product line, SecureX, and Cat9k Trustsec Solution. He has successfully managed multiple releases and worked closely with customer support teams to provide timely resolution of customer-reported complex issues. Arindam has actively contributed to group discussions among technical leads that focus on product innovation. Arindam's idea has won the Security Business Unit Innovation Challenge - People Choice Award (Across Security Business Group), and he has received multiple awards during his tenure at Cisco SBG. He has also worked as a QA Lead at IXIA and as a Lead Software Development Engineer at HCL. Arindam holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Telecommunication from Veer Surendra Sai University Of Technology (Formerly UCE), Burla. In addition, he pursued a part-time MS in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, where he got admitted to a pool of 400 students from all over the world. Arindam's tech stack includes product management, test, QA, and software engineering. With his extensive experience and expertise, Arindam is a valuable asset to any organization in the tech industry.
