Arindam Mondal is a passionate and dynamic engineer with over 6 years of experience in the field of hardware systems integration, wearables, and AR/VR. His mantra in life is to sell the 'why', know the 'how', and create the 'what'. Arindam has a proven track record of designing and developing innovative hardware prototypes and algorithms. He designed and developed the sensing and interaction mechanism for a smartwatch prototype with an innovative bezel design. He also designed the hardware prototype for an inertial sensor-based hand-worn VR controller and developed the complete algorithm from hand pose tracking to 3D model representation in VR. Additionally, he led the intrapreneurship project titled "SMVS" to its successful completion and was one of the founding members of "Purified Techsoft Pvt. Ltd.". Arindam is currently working as a Firmware Engineer at Google, where he continues to develop his expertise in the field of wearables and AR/VR. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer 2 at Xilinx and a Staff Engineer at Samsung, where he was responsible for sensor prototyping, sensor characterization, sensor interfacing, PCB schematic design, firmware development, and board bring-up. Arindam holds a Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, and completed his high school education at Don Bosco School Liluah. He is also a co-inventor for 5 patent applications and co-author of 4 accepted peer-reviewed conference papers. Arindam's technical skills include integration, software engineering, and mobile development. With 9.27 years of relevant experience, he is a valuable asset to any team in the field of wearables and AR/VR.
