Aritra Panja is a highly skilled software engineer with over 14 years of experience in software design and development across various domains. He is proficient in Java, C#, C++, React, GraphQL, PHP, Python, Data Structures, Algorithms, Oracle/SQL DB, Big Data (Azure Data Lake), Azure Service Fabric, NoSqlDb (Azure Log Analytics), Microsoft Azure Platform, and Git. Currently, Aritra is working at Facebook as a Software Engineer, where he is involved in building the next generation privacy enforcements. At Facebook, Aritra is part of the inception of a new privacy tool to manage the life cycle of privacy incidents. He ensures that all cross-functional teams, including developers, senior privacy experts, legal, and policy, are engaged at the right moment and manages cross-communication and fact-finding on incidents until closure. He is also building pipelines to learn from the patterns of privacy issues and ensure quicker detection, mitigation, and prevention. Aritra was one of the initial members of the team and eventually became the tech-lead, taking part in hiring and building the team and future roadmap. Aritra has also worked with Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer II on Azure SQL Server Infrastructure team and Azure Identity Data Analytics team, respectively. He has designed and implemented systems to make telemetry more secure and scalable and saved millions of dollars per month by implementing innovative solutions. Aritra has a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Jadavpur University.
