Arjun Harish Rao is a seasoned product person with over 10 years of experience in the software industry across engineering, design and product management. He is currently a Product Mentor at adplist, where he shares his learnings to enable young professionals find their feet in Design & Product. Arjun has a penchant for addressing complex problems and is currently enabling clients with digital transformation through his practice at Deloitte Digital. Arjun has worked collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams of designers, engineers, data science experts and industry SME's to build digital experiences aimed at simplifying the life of agents for one of America's largest insurance providers. He has also conducted research to define customer journeys for the support organization of the world's largest PC manufacturer and identified key areas of opportunity with a vision to radically improve the plasma donation value chain for a pharmaceutical giant specializing in Plasma Derived Therapies. As a Product Designer at VMware, Arjun defined the core product vision and execution strategy in collaboration with cross-functional leadership for vRealize Lifecycle Manager. He also identified an opportunity to leverage the capabilities of vRealize Operations and vRealize Business to create additional revenue skew upwards of 10 million USD for vRealize Tenant Application. Arjun was also the lead designer of the Bangalore team involved in the transformation of the user experience of vRealize Operations to the Clarity Design System. Arjun's mentoring topics range from Design Thinking, Product Management, Leadership & Career Growth. He holds a Masters in Design led Innovation from Srishti College of Art, Design and Technology and a B.Tech in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Arjun's diverse tech stack includes product management, design, research science, data science, and product design.
