Arjun Krishna Shenoy is an experienced software engineer with a passion for developing microservice-based web applications. He is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Software Engineering and Data Analytics at the University of Limerick, Ireland. With over 4 and a half years of industry experience, Arjun has been involved in breaking up monolithic/legacy applications into microservice-based applications using Java and containerizing them using Docker, making them highly scalable web applications. He has also deployed these applications in multiple cloud services like AWS and Azure. Arjun is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Mastercard, where he continues to develop his skills in microservices, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and DevOps. He is constantly seeking challenging career opportunities in software development, data analytics, and machine learning. Arjun's technical skills include data structures and algorithms, programming languages like Java, Python, Go, and SQL, scripting and markup languages like HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and Bash Shell. He is also proficient in containerization using Docker, source control using Git, and IDEs like Jupyter Notebook, Java Eclipse, and Visual Studio. Arjun has experience working with databases like Teradata and MySQL and operating systems like Linux and Windows. He is also familiar with testing tools and libraries like Selenium Plugin, Testng, and Junit. Arjun has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Teradata, where he developed web-based applications using Java and Angular and implemented Test Driven Development using Junit, testNg, and Mockito. He also contributed to breaking down traditional software systems into microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Teradata and containerizing them using Docker. Arjun also worked on updating the old UI framework using Angular, making it more intuitive and dynamic. He facilitated the MDM Cloud journey by executing POCs in AWS and Azure cloud services. Arjun has also worked as a summer intern at Hager Group. Arjun holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Govt. Model Engineering College, Cochin, and is expected to complete his Master's degree in Software Engineering and Data Analytics from the University of Limerick by December 2022.
