Arjun Ahluwalia is the Founder & CEO of Jai Kisan, a rural fintech platform aimed at catering to the financial needs of borrowers in rural emerging markets. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Arjun has been instrumental in building Jai Kisan from the ground up, establishing it as the first rural fintech full-stack platform in India. Jai Kisan's platform is designed to empower the growth of rural Indians, particularly farmers, by providing low-cost and timely financing for agricultural equipment, dairy equipment, and other rural yield generational assets. The platform enables the digital and financial onboarding of rural masses, using credit as a hook. Today, Jai Kisan facilitates secured and income-generating loans to rural borrowers from various lending institutions through its mobile and web-based platform. Prior to founding Jai Kisan, Arjun worked as an Analyst at The Abraaj Group in New York City, where he was involved in strategic and secondary sales. He also worked in London and Dubai, where he specialized in special situations and private credit and venture. He later worked as an Associate at Research Valley Funds, LLC, where he was responsible for portfolio and deal sourcing analysis. Arjun holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance from Texas A&M University, where he gained expertise in business and finance. He also holds an HSC from St. Xavier's College, where he studied English, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Math, and Information Technology, and an ICSE from The Bishop's School. Arjun's tech stack expertise includes mobile and web development, which has been instrumental in the development of Jai Kisan's platform. As the CEO of Jai Kisan, Arjun is currently hiring for credit, sales, and tech roles, as the company continues to expand its reach and impact in rural India.
