Arjun Ashokkumar is a highly motivated and results-driven Software Engineer at Texas Instruments with a passion for using data-driven solutions and quantitative analysis to drive business decisions. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Management Information Systems at the Texas A&M – Mays Business School. Arjun possesses industry-tested skills in Software Development and Data Analysis, with a proficiency in C, C++, SQL, and Python. Arjun has worked on several projects, including the creation of a web application to digitize management and business processes for MPL SUB-ASSEMBLIES, designing and establishing an accessible UI and a scalable database using PHP and SQL. He also acted as the point of contact for the client, liaised with them, and sought feedback on product development. Arjun was also part of the team at Tracque, Inc. that delivered a custom software application for managing and analyzing public school data in Albuquerque. He delivered an innovative module to automatically generate reports on detection of faulty data input, culminating in saved time and facilitated improved data loads. He also performed data analysis and initiated development of a quantitative analysis reliant module based on time considerations, resulting in more productive loads. Arjun also developed a road-traffic detection social media platform that closed networks of people could update and suggest alternate paths with, fitted with a main administrator access to ensure veracity of the information. The system was based on a Trajectory-based community detection technique – TODMIS. Arjun is a high-energy team player who fits in well as a part of a cohesive unit to yield results, while gaining valuable work experiences and making fun memories along the way. He is a Research Scientist with a relevant experience of 1.78 years and possesses a strong tech stack that includes Software Engineering, SQL, Python, PHP, UI, and Web. Arjun is also an avid painter and swimmer, with a love for music of all genres, especially baroque rock and jazz.
