Arjun Datta is a highly skilled software engineer with over 6 years of experience in backend development and a passion for designing and building distributed, scalable systems. Currently working as a Software Engineer 2 at Microsoft, Arjun has also worked with other well-known companies like Cure.fit and Moonfrog Labs. During his tenure at Cure.fit, Arjun was responsible for maintaining, designing, and building the payments backend. He also worked on other projects in the main API Gateway micro-service that acts as an entry point for the entire backend system. This layer is responsible for fanning out various requests from the client to the various backends and aggregating the data and returning it back in a format that can be rendered by the client. At Moonfrog Labs, Arjun designed and developed several features end to end in various games, including well-known titles like the hugely popular Teen Patti Gold. He also worked in a small group of 3-4 engineers to build an entirely new war strategy game from scratch. Arjun holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Netaji Subhas Engineering College and an ISC degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Don Bosco Park Circus. He has a strong technical background and expertise in software engineering, backend development, and microservices.
