At the University of Minnesota, he worked as a Computational Geometry Research Engineer and developed a manufacturing simulation tool using Python and C++ to optimize the carbon fiber filament winding process. He also implemented computational geometry algorithms such as Delaunay triangulation, nearest neighbor, line segment intersection, Euclidean shortest path, range searching, point location, and point in polygon.
