Arjun Garg is an experienced Backend Developer with a strong background in Javascript, C++, and Git. He is currently working as a Backend Developer at Caarya, where he has implemented the initial Backend API infrastructure of a fantasy platform. Arjun has designed the schema to store information, integrated third-party APIs with the server, and used caching to reduce response time. Additionally, he has written automated scripts to scrape live contests data from several fantasy platforms. Arjun is a Computer Science Engineering Senior from Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He has a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry and is actively looking for summer internships. Arjun is a Software Engineer with 1.78 years of relevant experience. Arjun has previously worked as a Full Stack Developer at Newton School, where he built Full Stack projects for the assessment of the students' capability. He has also written test cases using Chai and Mocha frameworks to evaluate the project submission of students. Arjun has also worked as a Student Mentor at Kharagpur Open Source Society, where he mentored a group of 10+ participants from around India in a 5-week long online program. He guided his mentees to gain first-hand FOSS work-experience. Arjun has a strong technical skill set and is proficient in Backend development, Javascript, and testing.
