Arjun Govindjee is a skilled software engineer with a passion for computer systems of all kinds. With over 4 years of relevant experience, he is currently working as a Software Engineer at Pure Storage, where he is involved in kernel engineering. Arjun is fascinated by network stacks and has in-depth knowledge of them. He is also currently studying storage systems, including Flash and NVM, and OS design for upcoming NVRAM systems. Arjun has a side interest in cryptocurrencies and decentralized systems, particularly Bitcoin and Ethereum. He is currently diving into the world of the Dash cryptocurrency by working on a proposal for the Dash decentralized government. Arjun began his career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Storage Systems Research Center. He has also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Symantec, where he developed cross-platform kernel-mode code for Windows drivers and macOS kernel extensions. He has also designed and performed performance testing and optimization, implementing and quantifying improvements to scan engine performance. Arjun has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, which he completed in 2019. He also attended Acalanes High School from 2011 to 2015.
