Arjun Mathuram is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality software for world-class product development firms. Currently, he is serving as the Senior Director and Site Leader of Platform Service Engineering at Pegasystems. As a Certified Design Thinking and Agile Enthusiast, Arjun has proven expertise in managing complex projects and delivering results that exceed expectations. Arjun's current role at Pegasystems involves providing foundational services for the Pega as-a-service platform. He empowers all developers, including platform and customers, with best practices for defining architecture with embedded operability, standardized integrations, and best-in-class security. He consults with others on his deep expertise in these domains and ensures that internal and external customers can deploy applications seamlessly integrated into their ecosystem while meeting the highest standards of security, performance, scalability, and resiliency. Before joining Pegasystems, Arjun served as the Director of Platform Service Engineering at Pega and the Director of Oracle Hospitality Global Business Unit at Oracle. At Oracle, he was responsible for building an organization that delivered best-in-class solutions for the hospitality industry. He led the team in understanding KPIs and developed cascading measures to drive continuous improvement. He also coached his direct reports, including weekly one-on-ones, developing their leadership skills along with direct coaching and mentoring of their employees. Arjun implemented cost-cutting measures by adopting the latest technology advancements in infrastructure and bringing down operational costs. Arjun holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the University of Madras. He also completed his schooling from Don Bosco Higher Secondary School.
