Arjun Menon is an accomplished analytics professional with over 8 years of experience in solutioning, developing, and delivering analytics/data products and services. He is currently serving as the Manager of Enterprise Analytics & Data Products at VMware, where he leads a global team of Business Analysts and Data Scientists. Arjun is passionate about creating compelling stories from data and collaborating with business teams in solving pain points using analytics. Arjun has partnered with Data engineering, Product team, Business Strategy & Ops team to design & develop analytics products. He completed the flagship full-time MBA program from IIM Kozhikode in 2014 and received a gold medal from NIT Calicut for topping the branch in 2012. Arjun is conversant with analytical tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, agile project management tools such as Jira, data science concepts and applied techniques, Design thinking for building powerful stories using data, Confluence for Documentation, and MS Office Suite. He is a Certified professional in managing Data-driven products, certification awarded by IIM Lucknow, 2022. Arjun has worked with leading companies such as Accenture and IBM in the past. During his tenure with Accenture, he led several predictive analytics projects, helped multiple clients set up analytics operating models within the org, advised clients on solving data migration challenges from legacy servers to cloud, and managed the roll-out of a portfolio of automation and Artificial Intelligence-based products with Accenture Artificial Intelligence Research team. While working with IBM, Arjun developed a churn analytics model for a leading telecom provider, which predicted customers who are likely to churn. The model helped reduce churn by ~10% in the 1st 3 months of deployment. He also delivered social media analytics projects for clients from FMCG, Banking, and Retail sectors. Arjun is a Twitter Black Belt Certified professional, trained in analyzing Twitter data for generating new customer leads, creating social profiles, understanding Twitter terminology, etc. as part of the IBM-Twitter Partnership. Arjun holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing and Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Production Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
