Arjun Mohan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and product development across various industries. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer for upGrad, an Ed-Tech start-up, where he is focused on scaling the company to dominate the higher education space globally. Prior to joining upGrad, Arjun was the Chief Business Officer for Byju's, the learning app, where he played a significant role in developing and growing the sales and marketing prowess of the company. Arjun has also worked in various Tata companies, including Titan, Tata Motors, and TRIL, where he served as a TAS Manager and was responsible for sales, marketing, and strategy. At Titan, he was responsible for the national sales of non-watch distribution, trade marketing, and sales operations of the multi-brand channel. At Tata Motors, he executed a project to define the product positioning of an upcoming MPV, and at TRIL, he created a business plan for a new business company. Apart from his current role at upGrad, Arjun is also a Member of the Board of Advisors to the Electrical Engineering department at the National Institute of Technology Calicut. He is part of the advisory group that is helping the department implement the latest developments in technology across the globe. Arjun has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors for Talentedge and The Mom Store. Talentedge is a leading provider of professional certifications and degrees online for working professionals, while The Mom Store is a leading D2C brand in mother and baby products. Arjun holds an MBA in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
