Arjun Tiwari is a graduate student at Northeastern University with a passion for computer science. He has a strong background in machine learning, distributed systems, and related software development. Arjun believes in using research and innovation to solve real-world problems. He worked for 2.5 years as a software development engineer at Jio in the Online Charging System team, where he developed APIs for end-to-end creation and handling of add-on subscriptions for Amazon Prime. Arjun also created a batch processing API for providing critical data to the operations and analytics team. Currently pursuing his graduate studies in Information Systems from Northeastern University, Arjun enjoys working in newly emerging tech and the business and product side of tech development. He is always seeking opportunities to learn new skills and ideas. In addition to tech, Arjun enjoys playing badminton, reading, and exploring new places. Entrepreneurship and effectuating new ideas within a deadline are also some of his niche skills. Arjun's technical skills include proficiency in programming languages like Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, and C. He is also skilled in data analysis, machine learning, neural networks, classification, and clustering. He has experience working with databases like MySQL, Oracle DB, and MongoDB, and methodologies like Software Development Lifecycle and Agile. Arjun is also familiar with IBM Rational, Azure DevOps, Eclipse, Selenium, GitHub, and Jupyter Notebooks. Currently, Arjun works as an RSO Proctor at Northeastern University, where he is responsible for providing access control and security to residents and providing basic campus information. He regularly interacts with Residential Life, Building Services, and NUPD to ensure a safe environment around residence halls. Arjun has a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from M.G.M's Jawaharlal Nehru College of Engineering and a High School Diploma from Shri Radhakisan Lakshminarayan Toshniwal Science College. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Northeastern University, which he will complete in December 2023. Arjun's tech stack includes software engineering, machine learning, Jupyter, MySQL, Selenium, Golang, JavaScript, research science, neural networks, MongoDB, DevOps, Azure, web, microservices, Python, Java, mobile, and QA.
