Arka C is a seasoned HR leader, startup advisor, executive coach, angel investor, and growth hacker with over 22 years of experience in HR. He is a certified SPHR, Scrum Master, and Six Sigma Green Belt HR professional with multi-country exposure and a proven track record of delivering results. Arka has operated in diverse work environments and contributed to business transformation strategies. Arka has worked in highly matrixed, multi-geography environments with leaders from the US, UK, Australia, and APAC regions. He has also looked after HR for Manila and Guatemala in addition to India. Arka has proven expertise in both sleeves-rolled-up roles and strategic roles leading large teams. Currently, Arka is the Vice President of Human Resources at Sprinto, where he oversees people operations. Previously, he worked as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Opentext, where he led the inorganic growth vehicle for Opentext India and partnered with business and key stakeholders on university hiring strategy and model. He also worked as the Human Resources Director at Indus Valley Partners, where he played a lead role in growing the organization significantly as part of the executive leadership team. Arka is a lifelong learner and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Human Resources Management and Services from The Wharton School, which he will complete in 2022. He also holds a Python certificate from Columbia University and an MBA in HR and Banking from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. Arka completed his Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Calcutta University, Kolkata, and his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. Arka is passionate about contributing back to society by building and participating in building great places to work.
