Arkaprabha Banerjee is a Software Development Engineer (SDE) at Flipkart with a passion for technology and innovation. He is currently part of the App Experience team, where he focuses on user acquisition and retention. Arkaprabha has a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology with a minor in Computational Science from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology and has completed his elementary, middle, and high school education from New Era Senior Secondary School in India. Arkaprabha's primary interests lie in the fields of Machine Learning, Data Analysis, and Visualization, and High-Performance Computing. He is always eager to learn something new and is not afraid to step out of his comfort zone to do so. Arkaprabha has a deep-rooted curiosity for technology and is constantly seeking out new concepts and ideas to explore. Arkaprabha has 0.51 years of relevant experience in the industry. He has previously worked as an SDE Intern at Flipkart in two different teams - Category Experience and Growth Hack and Group Buying. In the former, he worked on developing user-facing A/B features and was responsible for owning all features from solutioning to deployment. In the latter, he provided key insights required to integrate component testing frameworks for Micronaut microservices containing REST and gRPC API's and identified key changes required to adapt Flipkart's in-house regression testing framework for gRPC API's across standard Java frameworks. He also generated a PoC for Istio-based deployment of REST and gRPC microservices in a service mesh. Arkaprabha's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Backend development. He is a constant learner and is always looking for opportunities to grow and develop his skills. In his free time, he enjoys reading novels and engaging in debates.
