Arko Dasgupta is a highly skilled Software Engineer with 8.87 years of experience in the field. Currently, he is working as a Research Assistant at WiNGS Wireless Lab, University of Wisconsin-Madison. In this role, he designed and deployed a sensor system that performed Active Sniffing for diagnosing enterprise wireless networks. He also collaborated on the ParaDrop project, which aimed at creating a platform where developers can easily deploy their applications into the home's Wifi Access Point. Prior to this, Arko worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Kyma Systems LLC, where he developed trap handlers and kernel optimizations in C and Assembly for the KVM port for the MIPS processor. He also worked as an Application Developer at BNY Mellon, where he worked on the back end C++ development for Securities Master Database (Asset Servicing) division. Arko holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Pune Institute of Computer Technology. He also has a Master of Science (Masters) degree from St. Mary's School, Pune, and has studied at Fergusson College.
