He is passionate about open source and has been actively involved in developer education initiatives throughout his career. Prior to joining GitHub, Arkodyuti has worked with top-tier organizations like Microsoft, GOJEK, and CISCO in landing their developer relations, product management, and GTM strategies. At Microsoft, he scaled the Open Source/developer programs to grow the adoption of Microsoft Azure Docs and Certifications across various cloud services offerings in the S500 accounts and the developer community. He has also led developer programs in the India region like Azure Heroes, Microsoft Student Ambassador, and Microsoft Imagine Cup. Arkodyuti has delivered technical talks at global developer conferences like Microsoft Build and Microsoft Ignite DevRel Asia. He has organized, mentored, and judged developers at over 50+ hackathons across all audiences - students, professionals, and startups. Arkodyuti's core has always been "helping developers" and working with product and engineering teams at scale. He has a strong focus on skilling developers on cloud technologies, specifically Azure and AI. He has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from SRM University.
