Arnab Chanda is a Software Architect at Cisco with more than 18 years of relevant experience in the field of cloud enterprise solution architecture, product design and development, and customer-centric design. He is a hands-on technologist and a polyglot full-stack developer with expertise in cloud architecture, cloud security, distributed computing, actor system, big data/analytics, microservices, and DevOps. Arnab is an advocate and contributor to various open-source community projects and a product security expert with proficiency in architectural risk analysis, black-box/white box testing, and methodologies. He is certified in Cisco's "Security Space Fleet" program. Arnab's past experiences include working as a Siebel technical architect/lead in CRM life sciences, salesforce automation, and clinical systems with a proven track record. He has extensive exposure to CRM applications (Siebel) and is a Six Sigma green belt. Arnab is interested in complex/challenging assignments and opportunities. He is an inspirational leader with specialties in problem-solving, performance tuning, design, ideation, rapid prototyping, product development, and innovation thinking. Arnab's current role at Cisco involves building software for network orchestration, monitoring, and analysis, cloud-native product development for distributed systems, and enhancing customer experience with elegance and simplification. Arnab has worked with Oracle as an Application Architect, where he was part of the central architecture team for the cloud application suite on clinical trial, worked on cloud automation/DevOps, and was a product security expert. He has also worked with Birlasoft (India) Limited as a Software Architect, where he designed and developed external system integrations to Siebel, translated complex requirements into robust designs, and monitored and fine-tuned systems. Arnab holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela and a Master of Technology degree in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has also completed Oracle Executive Education programs in Organizational Leadership from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and IESE Business School.
