Arnab Debnath is a highly skilled R&D Engineer Specialist at Dassault Systèmes, with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. He is responsible for delivering newly developed functionalities in both Fluid and Solid Mechanics domains for the 3DExperience platform, which includes inbuilt Abaqus solver. Arnab has developed Python scripts to automate simulation workflows using APIs and has delivered design optimization tools for the Fluid Mechanics App in the 3DExperience Platform. He has also conducted performance testing of the improved Fluid Mechanics solver against previous versions and delivered Industry Process Experience (IPE) workflows using High-Performance Computing infrastructure. Arnab has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanics, Materials & Computing from Carnegie Mellon University, where he also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant. He has a Master’s Degree in Computational Mechanics and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Arnab is proficient in various technologies, including Python, Research Scientist, infra, and test. He has developed simulation models in the 3DExperience platform (CATIA & Abaqus inbuilt) to observe the fidelity and performance of newly developed functionalities. Arnab is a highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills. He is known for his ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines. Arnab is a team player and enjoys collaborating with others to achieve common goals.
