Arnab Ghatak is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the industry. Currently, he is working as a Summer Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where he has completed a summer-internship project titled "Analysing Congestion of Indian Road Network". In this project, he collected data of bus routes in metro cities of India like Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune from websites using Selenium. He proposed a model which diverted buses from routes of high congestion to routes of low congestion to distribute congestion more evenly in metro cities. He worked under the guidance of Prof. Niloy Ganguly, IIT Kharagpur with Complex Network Research Group (CNeRG), IIT Kharagpur. Arnab has previously worked as a Summer Intern at Amazon, where he completed a summer-internship project titled "Transaction Automation Process (File Processing) with Global Financial System (TIMS)". He worked on files uploaded by businesses to AWS Simple Storage Service (S3) by triggering an API via AWS Simple Queue Service (SQS). He built a generic file parser to extract a list of objects from the files (Excel, Text or CSV) and validate them and upload to validated S3 bucket. He designed and implemented security of the files both in transit and in rest. He has also worked as a Software Developer Engineer at Amazon, where he designed Full Stack applications for Withholding Tax compliance solutions with AWS offerings and Open Source products. Arnab holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Information Technology from Jadavpur University, where he studied from 2013 to 2017. He is proficient in Software Engineering, Python, AWS, C, SQL, Javascript, Research Scientist, and PHP. With his strong technical skills and experience, Arnab is a valuable asset to any organization.
