Arnab Jana is a Software Engineer 2 at Microsoft, currently working in the DataBox R&D team. He is responsible for developing portal extensions for the Azure DataBox product and improving its performance. Arnab has a passion for solving real-world problems using DS, Algo, and Computer Science Technologies. He is always keen on learning new things and looking for opportunities where he can learn and solve problems that impact millions of people. Prior to his current role, Arnab worked in a Cloud team at Walmart labs, where he worked on Java-based backend technologies. He has experience working as a Software Engineer II and Software Engineer in Walmart, where he developed and enhanced the Looper product across the stack to meet the scale at which Walmart operates. Arnab has also worked on setting up a dashboard in Grafana using Prometheus queries and carried out automated detection and clean-up of inactive jobs in the Looper main server. Arnab has a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. He completed his high school education from Kendriya Vidyalaya, where he studied PCMC.
