Arnab Paikaray is a highly skilled Roboticist with expertise in ROS, Mobile Robotics, and Power Electronics. He is a dynamic and innovative techie who is passionate about incorporating new and cutting-edge technologies to create something unique. Arnab's research interests include Machine Learning, Robotics, and Image Processing, and he has gained extensive experience in these areas throughout his career. Currently, Arnab is working as a Software Engineer at udaan, where he is responsible for Robotics Engineer and Supply Chain Automation. He has successfully designed and tested April tag decoder, closed-loop homing mechanism, and keyboard teleoperation for Udaan Vahan, an autonomous warehouse pick and place robot. Arnab has also explored high-performance serialization Protobuf and Cap’n Proto for robot communication with fleet management. Additionally, he has deployed cronjobs to collect and rotate logs from warehouse profiler hardware, which improved data collection and eliminated system crashes due to storage overflow. Arnab is also responsible for designing web servlets, clients, and test cases for the Udaan Catalog trade listings linked to the Azure SQL database. Prior to joining udaan, Arnab worked as a Software Developer at Wipro, where he designed an AI-powered voice-enabled dialogue management system that is capable of querying across multiple tables in a database using Wit.ai based natural language processing and Google voice API. He also worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Machine Intelligence and Bio-Motion Lab (NIT Rourkela), where he developed a Full lower body control to balance the NAO Humanoid Robot using the Joint Angle Control approach. Arnab holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Rourkela. He has gained expertise in various technologies such as Java, AI, SQL, Python, ML, Image Processing, test, Research Scientist, Azure, Web, NLP, Computer Vision, Image Segmentation, Deep Learning, Object detection, Hyperparameter, Object Detection, Neural Networks, and MongoDB.
