Arnab Sen is a final year student pursuing a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur. He has a strong background in software development, web development, automation, and content writing. Arnab has worked around an immense variety of technologies and frameworks such as React, Vue in Frontend and Node, Flask, Rails in the Backend. He is currently working on his Data Structures and Algorithms and other Core CS fundamental knowledge, using C++ as his primary language. Arnab also has intermediate-level experience with Python, JavaScript, and Ruby. He often participates in Competitive Coding contests which aid his problem-solving skills. Arnab is always willing to participate in something that helps him learn and grow. From Hackathons to CTFs, he loves challenging himself and keeps improving his skillset. Arnab also has a knack for Technical Writing, and you can find his articles in Dev.to and his own blogging website @ arnabsen.netlify.app. Currently, Arnab is working as an Intern at Cypherock, and he is also a SWE Intern at Google for the year 2022. At Google, he implemented an email-based notification system for an Ads Resource Engineering Team and explored the various notification platforms available at Google to select the best fit for their use case. Arnab also prepared a detailed design doc for the implementation with the component overview, workflow diagrams, etc. He integrated the notification system with a feature to demonstrate its working, implemented features, fixed bugs, & performed unit testing in an internal Ads Planning Tool. Arnab worked with Java in the backend and with Angular JS and Javascript in the frontend. Arnab has also worked as a Co-Lead for GDSC IIEST, where he facilitated the Cloud Campaign and successfully organized the 30 Days of Google Cloud with 161 participants. He conducted various online sessions on topics like Cloud and Docker. Arnab has also worked as a Student Intern for Summer of Bitcoin, where he improved the current User Statically-Defined Tracing (USDT) support in Bitcoin Core by adding new tracepoints and scripts. Arnab has a Bachelor's of Technology degree in Computer Science from IIEST and completed his schooling in Science from Hem Sheela Model School - India.
