Arnaud Degroote is a highly experienced Tech Lead in Robotic Systems, currently working at Easymile, a company that specializes in building autonomous vehicles. With over 17 years of relevant experience, Arnaud has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of embedded systems and robotics. Prior to his current role, Arnaud worked as a Developer at NetBSD, where he primarily focused on network-related tasks. He was responsible for developing IPv6 support for the NetIPSEC IPSEC stack, pfsync support for their imported pf, and hacking some wifi drivers, including wpi(4), iwn(4), and malo(4). Arnaud also worked as a Research Engineer at ISAE, where he organized and developed the system part of ISAE UAV, from low-level real-time operating systems to complete robotic architecture, both functional and decisional. Arnaud holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Robotic (Embedded System) from Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, where he also completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Science. He also attended Lycée Blaise Pascal for his secondary education. Arnaud has a diverse tech stack, and his expertise includes being a Senior Software Engineer and Research Scientist.
