Arnav Chopra is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for cloud computing, distributed systems, and scalability. He is a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, where he received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2017. Currently, Arnav is working as a Software Engineer at Facebook, where he continues to hone his expertise in cloud computing and distributed systems. Prior to joining Facebook, Arnav worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer II, where he was a core member of the Azure Tenant Deployment Performance and Reliability (TDPR) Team. There, he led sub-teams and worked on the development of Ephemeral OS Disks for Azure VMs, as well as on developing and improving the next-generation fabric controller for Azure Cloud Platform. His work ensured that the platform was always available, extremely reliable, and super-fast. Before his role as Software Engineer II, Arnav worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, where he re-designed the provisioning workflow of Windows and Linux VMs end-to-end, which helped to scale the platform. He also worked on OS disk blocks de-duplication and Host-Node components to expose workload-specialized VM SKUs. Arnav's technical expertise includes software engineering and Azure. With a relevant experience of 6.03 years, he has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in his field.
