Arpan Badeka is an experienced Software Engineer in Test with over 6 years of relevant experience. He is currently working at MathWorks as a Software Engineer in Test for MATLAB Graphics-Figure Datatools. Arpan also developed integration tests, performance tests, smoke tests, and security tests for MATLAB command-line functions and for Graphical User Interfaces developed in MATLAB. He partnered closely with the QE, Engineering, Usability, and Documentation teams and used MATLAB, JUnit, C++ Google Test, and Database Systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, SqlServer, Vertica, Firebird, MariaDB, Cassandra, Neo4j. Arpan also worked as a Web Application Developer Intern at MathWorks, where he developed a Chrome plugin to view MATLAB Live Scripts within the chrome browser, added features to Trendy and Sharedrive, and used Backend development in Rails, Front-end development on CoffeeScript using jQuery, Bootstrap. Arpan holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from VIT.
