Arpan Chakraborty is an ambitious and dedicated undergraduate student majoring in Electronics and Tele-communication Engineering at Jadavpur University. He is currently in his pre-final year and is passionate about learning MicroElectronics, CMOS IC Based Design, and its practical applications. Arpan is also interested in exploring intuitive ideas based on Analog based systems and works tirelessly in his analog domain until he is satisfied with the outcome. Arpan is an incoming Analog Product/Test Intern at Texas Instruments, where he will be able to apply his knowledge and skills to real-life projects. He has previously interned at SAMEER Kolkata Centre, where he worked on designing various passive and active RF devices using Microstrip components and analyzing their S parameters and various design and layout issues. Apart from his academic pursuits, Arpan has a keen interest in geopolitics and international relationships and enjoys learning about his country's geopolitical arrangements. He is also a small trader at UPSTOX, where he trades in the stock market. At Jadavpur University IC Centre, Arpan is working on a UMC 65 nm DCO design in Cadence Spectre and is also working on the realization of Active inductor in Cadence. He has also worked as a student researcher at the Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research, where he designed practical Microstrip patch Antenna, Horn Antenna, and active microwave components in Ansys HFSS. Arpan has completed his HSC from Atreyee DAV Public School and is expected to graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Jadavpur University in 2024. He has also completed his schooling from The Atreyee English Medium School and Atreyee DAV Public School. With 0.26 years of relevant experience, Arpan is a talented and hardworking individual who is always eager to learn and grow. He possesses a strong technical foundation and is a research scientist with a passion for testing.
