Arpan Govindaraju is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with over 4 years of work experience and a Masters degree in Embedded Systems from Delft University of Technology. He is currently working as a Master Thesis Project at Philips, where he is working on Sensor Localization. The main objective of his thesis is to localize ceiling mounted IR (motion) sensors by analyzing the data collected from them. To achieve this, he has set up a testbed and developed an algorithm using data processing techniques and graph matching techniques. This algorithm has also been tested on an open source data collected at UCSD. Arpan has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Topic Embedded Systems, where he developed an algorithm to detect the transition caused due to the usage of Electrical surgical instruments connected to the smart current sensor. He also adapted the existing skeletal firmware for the SoM to the needs of the project using Yocto. He has also worked as a Chief Engineer at Samsung. Arpan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from B.M.S. College of Engineering and a Master of Science (MSc) in Embedded Systems from Delft University of Technology. Arpan's technical skills include Software Engineering and Mobile development. He has a relevant work experience of 7.69 years.
