Arpan Lepcha is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with over 12 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently working at shippit as a Senior Software Engineer, he has a strong background in software engineering, Ruby, microservices, web development, AWS, CI/CD, Redis, Kubernetes, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, MongoDB, Azure, and infrastructure. Arpan has a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions for his clients. He has worked with various companies and has held several key positions in his career. As the Chief Technology Officer at selise digital platforms, he was responsible for leading and developing a CPQ + Ordering workflow solution for a global telco targeting their OSS/BSS layer. He also migrated from Monolith to Microservice based architecture for in-house community application, led the platform team, and developed processes to improve security and performance of web applications. Additionally, Arpan created generic backends in Rails to be used across multi-tenant setup following DRY and SOLID principles and built out Ci/CD pipelines, integrating DevSecOps within the agile development process. He was also responsible for hiring and scaling the dev team from 20 to 85+ team mates across various squads. Prior to this, Arpan was a Technical Lead at selise rockin’ software (secure link services ltd.), where he architected the Telecom CPQ Engine, orchestrated and managed SSO infrastructure, and consulted on modernizing legacy infrastructure for clients at DACH region. Arpan holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Information Technology from Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) and completed his +2 in Bio-Maths from Phuentsholing Higher Secondary School.
