Arpan Maheshwari is a highly experienced Director of Product Development at Ontic with over 13 years of relevant experience in product development and project management. He has a rich exposure to client engagement, business analysis, design, and development of IT solutions. Arpan has extensive experience in capital market processes like trade lifecycle, portfolio management, real-time PnL, reconciliations, security and reference data management, and portfolio risk. Arpan's business analysis experience includes working on next-generation internet banking and mobile banking products in retail banking space spread across all geographies. He has been involved in the development of various products for the financial industry, including Reconciliation Framework, Reference Master, real-time PnL Monitor, and Banking Payment system (Bank Wire). Arpan has worked with Indus Valley Partners as an Associate Director and Team Lead, leading multiple cross-functional delivery teams while managing IT consulting projects for various multi-billion dollar established Hedge Funds as well as startups and Long Asset Managers clientele. He has been involved in pre-sales activities across the alternate investment space and carried forward various data transformation projects at an enterprise level across the front and middle office space of investment managers. Arpan has also built various product platforms in the front office space, such as Research Management System for portfolio managers and Natural Language Processing based Machine Learning frameworks for analysts. He has a strong educational background, having completed his B.TECH in Chemical Engineering from IIT BHU, PGPM in Information Management from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, and Advanced Program in Information Management for Business Excellence from the University of Texas. Arpan is also a Research Scientist in the field of Artificial Intelligence, having completed his PGP in Artificial Intelligence for Leaders from the University of Texas.
