Arpan Nanavati is a highly experienced and accomplished technologist with a strong track record of enabling technical teams to innovate and deliver in fast-paced environments. With over 14 years of relevant experience, he has a deep understanding of technical leadership, architecture, business, vision, and implementation. He has experience leading global teams of software engineers, infrastructure, data science, and quality assurance engineers. Arpan is passionate about evangelizing emerging technologies and trends and building strong and meaningful partnerships with business, product management, and vendors. He is well-versed in Agile methodologies intertwined with project and program management. He has a strong technical breadth and depth and stays close to all architecture and stack decisions. Currently, Arpan is the Chief Technology Officer at Jeeves, where he is hiring in Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, the UK, the US, and India. In his current role, he is responsible for leading the technical team and driving innovation. Prior to Jeeves, Arpan has held leadership positions at Moda Operandi, WalmartLabs, and PayPal. At Moda Operandi, Arpan was part of the executive team and led all of engineering, including customer, vendor, platform, data science, and infrastructure. He managed a team of over 100 engineers and was responsible for driving innovation in the luxury fashion retail space. At WalmartLabs, he led online grocery engineering teams, which grew into the largest grocery consumer brand in the world, with 20 million monthly active users. At PayPal, he led a large, global engineering team delivering experiences and products for PayPal Checkout. Arpan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. He has a diverse skill set that includes senior software engineering, data science, infrastructure, quality assurance, product management, mobile, and web.
