Arpit Garg is an experienced Product Manager with over 8 years of experience in building user-centric products across various industries such as Internet, E-commerce, SaaS, and HR Tech. He is currently leading the Discovery, Data Science, and Platform teams at Lenskart, where he is working on some exciting problems at the intersection of Technology, Data Science, Design, and Business. Prior to joining Lenskart, Arpit led the product team at Belong, where he spearheaded the launch of most of their core products, primarily SaaS products heavily leveraging DS to solve hiring problems. As a founding member of the product team, he defined business goals, product vision, GTM strategy, pricing, and product roadmap. He worked closely with the sales and marketing teams to convert multiple $100k deals with the largest deal size close to $500k. Arpit managed a team of 30+ members comprising Product Managers, Designers, Analytics, Developers, Data Scientists, and Customer Support Executives. He increased DAU/MAU by 2x for early adopters by solving pain points across the user journey and grew ARR by ~95% in FY2019-FY20. He also reduced churn by ~15% by continuously working with all the customers (50+) and launching new features to automate the mundane work done by recruiters with the help of technology and Data Science. Arpit has also worked as a developer at Morgan Stanley, where he was primarily responsible for building globally distributed trading platforms. He has an MBA from IIM Indore and a BE(Hons) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Apart from his work, Arpit is actively advising and investing in early-stage startups in B2B, D2C, and SaaS domains. He has a strong tech background and is proficient in various technologies such as Product Management, Data Science, and Search.
