Arpit Gupta is a Software Engineer at D.E Shaw with a passion for developing applications and problem-solving. Arpit has gained valuable experience through his past internships at Interview Kickstart and Netmeds. At Interview Kickstart, he improved the product and SEO performance by more than 50% by migrating the underlying codebase from JQuery to Next.js. He also worked simultaneously in another team to provide support to existing products and add new features like sentry, google analytics integration, and more. At Netmeds, he worked on building the frontend for the product as well as the API's from scratch. He also lowered the cost and improved the logging and logs retrieval efficiency of the product by switching from native AWS Cloudwatch logs to custom deployed ELK stack. Arpit completed his Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2022. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in Software Engineering, Javascript, AWS, Typescript, Integration, Django, ECS, Spring, Frontend, and Java. Arpit is a problem solver who enjoys working in a team to achieve common goals. He is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.
