Arpit Singh is a highly motivated and skilled engineering undergraduate at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, majoring in computer science. With a passion for technology and a strong academic background, he has gained valuable experience in the field through various internships and projects. Currently, Arpit is a Technology Intern at Amex, where he has implemented robust and loosely coupled microservices and RESTful APIs in Java using the Spring-Boot framework. He has also optimized microservice performance by 1000% by leveraging parallel processing and implemented an automated data-driven testing framework to generate unit tests with 100% test coverage. These achievements demonstrate his ability to design and develop efficient and effective software solutions. Prior to his internship at Amex, Arpit was a Research Intern at Nanyang Technological University, where he explored and implemented scalable and robust federated learning systems with additional privacy-preserving measures to achieve high-performance deep learning models without having to share data. He implemented various Federated Averaging algorithms to gain deep insight into scalability, performance, and accuracy and published and presented an award-winning research paper at ICDCS-IEEE 2022 Italy. He was also awarded the Best Student Paper Award at the 42nd IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems. Arpit has also worked as an Application Developer at Matsci AI, where he built an Education App "Skilbucks" in Flutter (Dart) and learned full-stack development in Flutter and backend integrations. He has a diverse set of technical skills, including expertise in Spring, microservices, Java, deep learning, Flutter, and backend development. With 0.77 years of relevant experience, Arpit is a highly skilled and motivated individual who is committed to developing innovative and efficient software solutions.
