Arpit Srivastava is a seasoned Technical Lead with over 8 years of experience in software engineering. Currently working at Zetwerk, he has previously worked with Scribie and BuildCorner as a Full-stack Developer and Co-founder, respectively. At Scribie, Arpit was responsible for enhancing transcriber productivity by integrating AI into the existing system. He implemented machine learning models for features such as speaker tracking and labeling, highlighting and classification of mistakes, and developed an automated transcript API for customers. Arpit also created a complete wallet/credits system for the website and handled other on-demand smaller features, UI tweaks, error debugging, and automated testing. At BuildCorner, Arpit worked on a virtual reality-enabled, web-based 3-D visualization software and a design app used by tile and marble manufacturers and dealers, architects, interior designers, and furniture shops to provide personalized design recommendations to their customers. He was responsible for end-to-end design, development, testing, and launch to production of the app currently used by clients across India, including Kajaria Tiles. Arpit created a responsive website with minimalistic UI and neat user experience using HTML5, JavaScript, and Google's Material-CSS framework. He implemented 3-D visualization and Virtual Reality using libraries and tools like ThreeJS, HTML5Canvas, and set up the back-end on an Apache Server. Arpit also implemented server-side handling using PHP Slim Framework (v2) and created the database using PHP's NOTORM framework for MySQL. He regularly conducted end-to-end testing and fixed bugs, leading to constant improvement of the product. Arpit holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He has a strong technical background in Senior Software Engineering, ML, test, AI, Integration, UI, Web, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, and Backend. Currently, he is working on porting the BuildCorner app to Angular4 and Express/MongoDB for better maintenance and performance. Arpit is also working on adding reporting/analytics to gauge user traction.
