Arpita Kuila is an accomplished Chief People Officer, Mentor, Advisor, and Coach with over 22 years of experience in Human Resource Management. She has gained a 360-degree exposure in the HR space, having worked in both IT and non-IT industries, primarily MNCs. Arpita's career has encompassed the entire gamut of a generalist HR role across varied industries. Arpita is a specialist in HR Generalist functions, including performance management, talent engagement, career planning and people development, communication, program managing, and leading large HR initiatives. She is currently working as a Consultant CHRO, advising a start-up in the e-commerce, logistics, and supply chain technology space. She is responsible for solving and resolving people-related concerns/queries with the US leadership team and the India technology team. Arpita also provides consulting and advisory on people, strategy, culture, practices, and processes. She is also a mentor with an Indian accelerator. In her previous roles, Arpita worked as a Chief People Officer with supplyai, a start-up in the e-commerce, logistics, and supply chain technology space. She was responsible for setting up people practices, processes, and systems, leading and creating people strategy, recruiting, building, and supporting a global, remote team, and focusing on people development and culture building. Arpita has also worked as a Consultant CHRO, helping organizations on their journey from start-up to grown-up, on all things people. She has coached and mentored leaders, people managers, first-time managers, and mid-management professionals. Arpita holds an M.H.D. (M.B.A. equivalent) in Human Resources from the National Institute of Human Development and a B.A. (Hons.) in English from Jadavpur University. She has also attended St. Thomas' Girls' School, Kolkata, and Kalulushi Trust School. Arpita has a tech background as a Software Engineer and Research Scientist.
