Arpita Singh is a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in Data Science, Android Programming, and Frontend technologies. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts and is actively seeking full-time opportunities in Software Engineering and Machine Learning. Arpita has a total of 3.93 years of relevant experience, having worked with top companies like Amadeus and Novartis. She is currently working as a Software Engineer at Amadeus, where she has contributed to the development of a white-labelled Android application for passengers. She has also worked on a Native Android application designed for Zebra Android scanners used for handling and tracking flight and luggage operations by the airport ground staff. Arpita has worked with the user experience team to redesign the app and features. She has experience working with Kotlin, JavaScript, Redux, Rest API’s, Firebase, Google Analytics, and Datawedge to develop new features for the applications along with the improvement of existing features. Prior to her current role, Arpita worked as a Data Science Associate and Software Development Intern at Novartis. She contributed to a cross-divisional data analytics project and worked with different analytical libraries and packages in Python to clean, analyze, and model the multi-layered data to perform predict on analysis for the Integrity and Compliance team. As a frontend developer for a business portal, Arpita tailored user experience, implemented responsive design for various screen sizes, developed and modified new features and components, and built reusable code for future use. Arpita has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Thapar University and completed her Intermediate in Mathematics and Computer Science from Study Hall School.
