Arshan Ahmad is a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer with a passion for technology and a keen interest in computers, programming, and managing work. He is currently working as a Software Developer at The Tarzan Way, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. Arshan is a quick learner and always eager to contribute his skills while remaining open to learning new things. Arshan has gained valuable experience working as a Software Developer Intern at e-yantra, IIT Bombay, where he designed a web app for running Gazebo/Rviz simulations remotely on the cloud, which is accessible via a browser. He created a docker-compose.yml file to set up the development environment using DockerFile on a single command. Arshan also provided a token to the frontend for it to connect to the Node server for remote VSCode and Gzweb access and to Apache Guacamole for providing a VNC server of Linux. He also provided workspace access to each team in a way that only one member of a team had write access to that workspace at a time. Arshan implemented 0Auth using Keycloak. Arshan also worked on the simulation of warehouse automation project at e-yantra, IIT Bombay. He developed an inventory system where every item in the warehouse had a QR code on it, and by using a camera and pyzbar (python library for decoding QR code), he updated the inventory sheet on GSheet. Arshan also developed a system for handling incoming orders, where orders were published on MQTT (lightweight messaging protocol) Topic one by one with a random time interval. He created a dashboard that provided real-time information regarding inventory, incoming order, dispatch, and shipped time. Arshan used Robot Operating System for controlling bots and gazebo for simulation, Python for operating ROS, and Javascript and HTML for creating the dashboard. Arshan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Jamia Millia Islamia, where he will graduate in 2022. He also holds a Senior Secondary degree from Jamuna Christian College. Arshan has expertise in software engineering, Docker, frontend development, Python, and Javascript. He has 1.18 years of relevant experience and is always looking for new and exciting opportunities to further his career.
