Arshdeep Singh is a Senior Data Scientist with a passion for Data Science and Machine Learning. He has a keen interest in exploring new technologies and their use cases, particularly in the development of AI-based real-world applications. With a relevant experience of 3.78 years, he has worked across multiple domains, including NLP, computer vision, tabular data, and audio-based ML projects. Arshdeep has extensive experience in gathering, cleaning, and tackling unstructured data in these domains, developing ML models, and coming up with metrics to measure the outcomes and results with stakeholders. He has participated in various machine learning hackathons and is well-exposed to structured machine learning pipelines as well. Currently working at Vedantu, Arshdeep has been involved in developing Sales Process Intelligence, a system that incorporates descriptive and predictive analytics within sales processes to optimize lead targeting and agent performance. He has also worked on a Text Analytics Engine for Grievance Redressal, where he classified grievances and redirected them to relevant business verticals, achieving 0.75 macro-F1 over ten classes. Additionally, he has worked on Text to Talking Face Video Generation, where he recreated synthetic media of existing educators for content generation from text. In his previous role at Vedantu, Arshdeep worked on In-class Personalized Audio Nudges to Students, where he bootstrapped custom voice engines from first-party transcribed audio data with intensive audio regularization. He also created a scoring framework that rates in-session teacher presence to facilitate quality audits and evaluated the likelihood of users to convert as paid subscribers based on user intelligence synthesized from platform activity, demographic, and behavioral information. Arshdeep holds a B.tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and an Intermediate/+2 from SGGSSS School, Chandigarh. He has a strong tech stack that includes Data Scientist, Research Scientist, ML, BERT, NLP, Python, GAN, Sentiment Analysis, Computer Vision, AI, C, Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering, Spark, Kafka, TensorFlow, Pandas, and Backend.
