Arshiyan Alam is an AI enthusiast who is passionate about exploring the possibilities in the allied fields of Artificial Intelligence and Software Development. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, Arshiyan has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of Software Development, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Algorithms, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Image Processing. Arshiyan was introduced to Machine Learning and Image Processing through a college competition in which he won the best Freshman award. From then on, he undertook various MOOCs, learned new concepts, and participated and succeeded in more events and projects. Arshiyan is a quick learner, hardworking, and eager to learn more. Currently working as a Lead Engineer at Samsung, Arshiyan has previously worked as an Engineer at Samsung and as an InStep Intern at Infosys. During his internship at Infosys, Arshiyan worked on building an entity-centric view on a large-scale corpus, finding other entities that are connected to the given entity using unsupervised techniques like Word2Vec. He also worked on multiple POCs using tools like Apache Spark, OpenNLP, Scala, and iPython. The internship was part of InStep, a global internship program that provided a unique opportunity to engage with interns from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds from over 50 nationalities. Arshiyan has a strong tech stack that includes Senior Software Engineer, AI, Image Processing, ML, Software Engineer, Mobile, NLP, Data Scientist, Word2Vec, Corpus, Spark, and Scala. With 5.86 years of relevant experience, Arshiyan is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
