Art Siriwatt is a seasoned Software Engineer with 7.69 years of relevant experience. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer III at NextCapital Group, where he maintains and develops features for an internal forecasting engine that predicts the probability of a user reaching their retirement goal and provides advice on how to better reach their retirement goals. He ensures the accuracy of forecasts and retirement advice by writing automated test cases (unit, functional, integration, regression) via multiple internal tools and multiple custom testing suites for 15+ features. Art also adds support for additional forecasting options such as advice for contributions with automatic escalation and advice considering employer matched contributions. He is responsible for debugging and investigating production and staging environment bugs and defects related to advice and forecasting. This includes writing reports, designing and proposing solutions, and implementing those solutions. Art advises on and designs integrations for the forecasting engine with the main web application. Before joining NextCapital Group, Art worked as an Assistant Director of Business Development at radd3/mogotxt, where he shipped a contracted title (View-Master Experience Pack: Discovery Underwater for the Mattel View-Master VR Viewer); working primarily on QA. He also scripted and designed a prototype for a Monday Night Football VR experience featuring voice-overs from commentator/NFL coach Jon Gruden. Art wrote market analyses and consulted during pre-production for in-house mobile sports titles and VR titles. Art also has experience working in the Games Division at Superb Berkeley, where he organized and ran games-related events for the UC Berkeley student body, including Poker Tournaments, Trivia Nights, etc. He coordinated with various groups on campus to facilitate and sponsor on-campus events, such as Super Smash Bros. tournaments and Puzzle Hunts. Art holds a degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He has expertise in Software Engineering, test, Integration, Web, qa, Mobile, and other relevant technologies.
