Artemii Garibov is a Robotics Software Engineer with a keen interest in Machine Learning, AI, Visual Servoing, and Self-driving Cars. He has over four years of relevant experience and is currently working at JetBrains as a Robotics Software Engineer. Artemii's previous research at HAI ROBOTICS involved building autonomous Automatic Guided Vehicles for indoor navigation in a warehouse and crowded areas like offices and corridors. He worked on solving localization, mapping, and navigation tasks to develop AGV platforms for delivering goods, groceries, and office logistics. Artemii has also worked on implementing Intelligent Pick and Place applications for robotic arms like Universal Robot arm using RGBD camera with Objects Detection, Recognition, Motion Planning, and Grasping driven by PointCloud sensor data. In his previous project, Artemii was involved in Automating Guided Vehicle (AGV) Mapping & Navigation for Detecting stored objects using RFID tags. He used Robotics platform for Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) in Gazebo simulation and real robot implementation, using Sensor Fusion (LiDAR, Odometry). RFID Reader got mounted on top of the platform, detecting and displaying tags in the ROS RViz visualization tool, along with the built map. Artemii has also worked as a Robotics Algorithm Engineer at HAI ROBOTICS, where he worked on AGV Navigation, SLAM, Computer Vision, and Sensor Fusion-based solutions for warehouse logistics. He has also worked as a Research Assistant at Siemens, where he developed Object Detection and Recognition for a Pick and Place Procedure using ROS. Artemii was awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship (2016-2019) and completed his Master's degree in Mechatronics and Robotics from Beihang University. He is fluent in English and comfortable with Chinese. Artemii is skilled in Software Engineering, AI, Research Science, ML, Computer Vision, and Object Detection.
